Dino
CP-E rear motor mount, is your best bet. You may get a little vibration at idle from it, but it is not really noticeable. Boomba Racing makes one as well, but the CP-E unit is a little bit better unit. It will reduce the amount of torque flex you are getting from the factory mount, but I am not sure that one is being manufactured for the 3.0TT yet. The one for the Ford Fusion Sport 2.7 might work. I would contact them and see if they will give you a special deal if you try and fit one on your car, They gave me a deal on one of their intercoolers to trial fit it because nobody had tried it before. The intercooler fit like it was made for the car. They also gave me special provisions to return the item if it did not work. They are always looking for people to try things so they can expand their selling market.
MKZ30AWD
Thanks, yea Darkstar makes one as well...
drolds1
Wow! Solid 12-second car. I'll bet that opened some eyes. :2thumbs: I was a child of the 60s and like every other gear head of the era, like to romanticize the musclecars of the day. We owned one (68 Olds 442 W30). It ran mid-13s and I though that was fast. It's amazing that here we are in 2018 and a 2-ton+ luxury sedan with a 183 ci engine can spank anything from the day with their 7L engines. Our cars can also stop and go around corners too.
DeviLSh
CP-E rear motor mount.......but I am not sure that one is being manufactured for the 3.0TT yet. The one for the Ford Fusion Sport 2.7 might work. http://lincolnmkzforum.com/topic/3475-cpe-fordfusionsport-27tt-xflex-mount-installed-37-awd/ I just put this on my 3.7. They may extend the discount to you too though, like they did me since you have the newer MKZ and 3.0TT. CP-e's 2.7tt should fit the 3.0TT, as I know the darkstar 2.7tt unit fits the 3.0tt, so I would think all are cross-compatible. PS - great times, I want to see someone hit an 11.9 with a bolt-on MKZ-tt.
Airflow
Great times!! Was that with Advancetrac off or just traction control off?
MKZ30AWD
Just Traction Control off....I Doubt that Advancetrac Off makes Any Difference, I've had Mustangs, and in those in makes no difference in 1/4 times.....
Airflow
Interesting... Did you ever take a look to see if you are running all season or summer tires?

Airflow
I have all seasons too. This is very encouraging. Stickier summer tires should drop the times a tenth or two.
Zalvern
I've had Pilot Super Sports on mine from day 1, and used the all seasons for like 2 weeks before I bought Blizzak LM001's for the cold seasons. Big improvement. I have a set of Pilot 4S's waiting to replace my Super Sports once I wear them enough. Soon as my MKZ is back from service and no more faulty cylinder section that ruins a spark plug. My current work schedule will let me hit up the drag strip every Friday night too. Only mod I do not have yet is Ultimate Performance Catted Downpipes. Anyone who may be near Edgewater Sports Park in Cleves, OH will see me around soon. Zalvern
Very nice! So...What kind of vehicle staged with you in that first slip? Or what happened to it? That 42.33 mph and 23.288 ET caught my eye. Airflow
hrlinc
It was a WRX STI. He missed a gear at the start and coasted in. The 12.91 against me was an Edge Sport with the same tuner and other work. I beat him twice. But he went from mid 14's stock to the 12.91. Mine pulled away at the top end. Airflow
Zalvern
Ah that'll explain it. Edge Sports seem to have more punch than the Fusion Sports in tuning. Granted what is going to bog down the 3.0T MKZ is it's limit heat management. Bolt on upgrades drastically improve the power efficiency. Still a tune gets you into the 12's bone stock on the average. Great isn't it? Airflow
hrlinc
I was happy. Especially after the STI guys was moaning about spending thousands and still being slower than me. My last three runs were all at 13 flat give or take a hundreth of a second. Heat was taking it's toll. Also launching at anything above 2000 rpm really slows the car down. Big bog right at start on a 3500 rpm launch. Airflow
MKZ30AWD
Good Times hrlinc! And the Darkstar Motor mount really helps with 60' times...I installed it last saturday, I'll find out for sure on Friday at Maple Grove though.... BTW, whose Tune do you have??? hrlinc
MKZ30AWD, I have the 93 tune installed. I had installed the aggressive tune but didn't like the shifting on it. Airflow and MKZ30AWD

HiceMKZ
2018 Black MKZ 3.0T with drivers package.. I love my new ride...with that said. I decided to get the Livernois Tune for my vehicle and noticed a difference in performance immediately … Does anyone know if there is a way to protect your warranty so lets say in the future if their is a warranty issue the dealership will not find out about the tune? Hi Hice. No, there is no foolproof way. If Lincoln/Ford digs deeply enough, they will know. As I believe I mentioned to you in another forum, if you change the engine programming and have any engine, transmission, powertrain issues later, your warranty claim is in danger of denial. drolds1
Just to add to what bbf2530 has said, even if you return to the stock programming, Ford can determine if there was ever a tune loaded. if they're so inclined. With the Diesel F-series trucks, if there's a major driveline-related warranty claim, Ford will not approve any repairs under warranty until the technician downloads and forwards the PCM history to Ford. I doubt that the same policy applies to Lincoln but you never know. To reiterate, if they want to, they can find out if a tune's ever been loaded and possibly deny a warranty claim. Here's a guide Ford provides to dealers for warranty denial that you may be interested in. https://www.focusst.org/forum/attachments/focus-st-discussions/300122d1514350880-ford-warranty-denial-guide-ford-dealer-checklist-chart-car-modifications.pdf You might want to talk to Livernois about your concerns as well. I've been here and on the MKS forum as well. A number of members have installed Livernois tunes over there and I've never read about a tune-related issue. I just bought my used 2017 MKZ 3.0 AWD on Thursday last week thinking this will be a great daily with some power. Now I find out with a tune it can be in the 12's?!?!? I also have an '18 Mustang GT with the 10R80 automatic which runs 12.0@117. It boggles the mind that my MKZ can run with or beat Mustang's with a tune!! I'm dropping the car off tonight, I smell oil from a recall repair that seems to be leaking, not doing any tune until I'm sure that repair was completed properly. Now I can't wait for Spring so I can tune both the Mustang and the MKZ.
