MKC service loaner and damage to MKZ

Recommended Posts

The dealer brought a 2019 MKC to my house and took the Z in for service. When the driver brought the Z back he left it partially sticking out of the garage, and when the wife closed the garage door it scraped up the rear bumper. Waiting for the dealer response to this, I think they need to take it back and repair the paint. I still like the dropoff service but the people they pay to do it aren't the sharpest tools, if you get my drift. The guy seemed very nervous and took forever to figure out how to jockey the cars around the driveway.

Also, I took the MKC out and the interior rattles like a piece of junk in 2 different places, headliner and door. Maybe that's why it's a service loaner, they couldn't sell it like that. But otherwise it's quiet and handles sharply, and wow what acceleration with that 2.0. It's way too much for the front wheels, the traction control struggles to keep the wheels hooked up on dry pavement at full throttle.

Only my opinion, but it really isn't the kid's responsibility to put it in your garage.  Unfamiliar territory for him.   I had an aunt way back when who had the shortest garage where only a mini cooper would fit in it.  I would have just told him to leave it in the driveway.

I was given an MKC loaner last year for a day.  Felt uneasy when I drove it.  It was quick.  Not used to an SUV however.

I look down on people as it is without actually looking down on people.

It was an older guy and he put it there without asking, I wasn't even around. The dealer seems to be ignoring it so I assume it's on me the get it fixed.

Is that Bergey's?   When I was originally looking at hybrids, I had inquired several times about vehicles they had.  They never would get back to me.
