I put my CarPlay adapter in the center console.  Pics attached.  It has been working great since 2022.  

Bought a Bluetooth USB adapter I plug it into the middle USB underneath the armrest also bought a wireless charger for my phone that I put down low in the middle using the 12 V plug-in. The Apple CarPlay works great, although if I watch a video the audio is delayed. It sounds great though I don't have to always plug in my phone now via USB.

Did fixing the evap hose assembly fix your problem with the car idling hard with full tank of gas? I've had the same experience with my 17 3.0.

as far as the clips, a good place to start is a parts place... being it's no longer under any warnety...  

That happened to me as well and the dealer replaced the clips that hold it in place under warranty.  But you can do this yourself, just pop it off by lifting it off from the left and rights sides with just your fingers.  Then replace the clips underneath it which should be available at your dealer's parts counter.

I’ve got a 2017 MKZ and my center speaker grill is being stupid. I can push it down flush quite easily and without resistance, but it springs right back up.    Does anybody have experience with this, or at least directions on how to remove it?

Hello.   Replacing a 2010 MKZ AWD bilateral inner and outer steering tie rods this weekend. Does any one have the toe wheel alignment specs? I want to confirm factory numbers vs. wheel alignment shop numbers. Thank you much for the help.   Per the interwebs:   For a 2010 Lincoln MKZ, the recommended wheel alignment specifications generally target a slight negative camber and a small amount of toe-in for stability. Front camber is typically -0.78° to 0.72°, with a total toe of 0 to 0.4°. The rear suspension features adjustable camber and toe, generally requiring professional calibration for optimal handling.  2010 Lincoln MKZ Alignment Specifications Front Camber: -0.78° to 0.72° Front Toe (Total): 0° to 0.4° Rear Camber: Adjustable (typically around -0.5° to -1.0°) Rear Toe (Total): 0.04° to 0.44° 

The hard copy Owner's Manual that came with my 2017 3.0TT starts with the procedure on pp 209, and continues through 212. Is very helpful, especially after telling you about getting up to temp, then shifting and holding in each gear for 10sec. Then you put it in P and leave the engine running. Then there's "Note: You will need to move the air filter assembly to access the transmission dipstick." Then they tell you to remove the dipstick etc, followed by the warning not to not to run the engine with the air filter disconnected and how to "relocate" the air filter 90°. I guess at some point, you realize they left you hanging with the engine running, and turn it off?

You can also check the Maintenance and Specializations section of your Owners Manual for the correct specification fluid for your particular vehicle/model year. Then purchase a fluid which meets those specs from the Parts Department of your local Lincoln or Ford Dealer (politely negotiate pricing with them), local big box auto shops, or an online Lincoln/Ford Parts seller (both often less expensive than the Dealership).    If you do not have your copy of the Owners Manual, you can download it here: https://www.lincoln.com/support/   Let us know how you make out and good luck.
