JAWMKZ
Took my car in to perform the 15s14 Steering Gear Motor Bolt Corrosion recall as my vehicle was originally registered in Ohio. The service manager advised it is a kit that takes less than a day to complete. In researching, this article sheds a little more light on the subject. http://www.automotive-fleet.com/news/story/2015/04/ford-recalls-fusion-edge-and-mkz-for-steering.aspx As well as: http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/10086-recall-15s14-steering-gear-motor-bolt-corrosion/ I will keep you informed if the work completed goes good or south. JoeBrown
Did you receive notification via US Mail from Lincoln on the recall?
hermans
I haven't received a notice from Lincoln, but it does appear when I look up recall notices on the internet along with two others.

tgara
Mine has one recall notice, something about light intensity. It was on my Lincoln Owner web page for my car. I also received a notice in the mail about it. Recall Date: APR 27, 2015 Recall Title: PARK LAMP INTENSITY CONFIGURATION NHTSA Recall Number: AWAITING#Lincoln Recall Number: 15C02 Recall Description: ON CERTAIN 2015 LINCOLN MKZ VEHICLES, WHEN THE HEADLAMPS ARE ACTIVATED, THE PARK LAMP PHOTOMETRIC INTENSITY EXCEEDS THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE INTENSITY SPECIFIED IN SECTION 7.8.13 OF FMVSS 108. FORD IS NOT AWARE OF ANY REPORTS OF ACCIDENT OR INJURY RELATED TO THIS CONDITION. I'm in Connecticut, so I expect I'll be getting a Notice about the bolt corrosion too. drolds1
Joe, the BCM is what was formerly the smart junction box, which controls many electronic functions. For instance, when you move the turn signal switch, a signal is sent to the BCM first, which in turn signals the turn signal to flash. The electronics are in the interior fuse box. JAWMKZ
I did not receive notification via mail, I actually had it listed on my service order when I did the A/C Evap TSB. They had me come back when they got the Steering Gear kit in and all is well. No noticeably difference in steering at all.
