hermans
Took the Z in this AM for an oil change and had the coupon for $39.95. They only charged me $29.00 + tax for it. The coupon does say 39.95 or less. This is the first time they charged me less. robertlane
SteveB_TX
How many miles you got on that Z hermans? Worn out your 4 year complimentary maintenance already? :)

SteveB_TX
Was thinking the same thing... I did noticed when I got my 15 that they only offer 2 yrs 24k on the complimentary maintenance.. Yeah, Lincoln cheeped out on the 2014+ models complimentary maintenance plan. At least Lincoln upgraded the Roadside Assistance to lifetime for original purchasers. :) My service paperwork shows my Z is covered for complementary service until 51000 miles. Go figure! hermans
I choose to have the oil changed every 5,000 miles and Lincoln will not pay for that, so I pay for every other change.
R2D2
I have had other cars that also went the 10K between oil changes both a BMW and a Lexus. Never an issue as long as using the synthetic as recommended. I wouldn 't want to try 10K with regular oil

drolds1
Things that make you go... Hmmmm. :) There's a minimum mileage that Lincoln requires between complimentary oil changes. I don't remember what it is but my SA said I'd be OK when I had 7500. There was still a good percentage left at that point according to the IOLM. IIRC, he said you're entitled to 4 oil changes in the two year of complimentary maintenance.
jimflutes
We are told something different from all these service managers , my guy said he will change the oil at 6500 if I want at no cost. But they have no idea how to turn on my DRL when some people here have had no problem . I guess you have to work with what you have with the dealerships. Moe
Do you have the DRL option.
jimflutes
I am told I do not have this option.
GLigotti57
My concern is not the complementary free maintenance on my MKZ 3.7L .... I just want to know can I take my vehicle to my own personal mechanic to do the oil changes. We used to have a Porsche Cayenne ( wish i had the complementary maintenance! ) However the dealer wanted to charge $250.00 to do the oil change. I said NO THANK YOU. Took it to my brother inlaw who worked as a service tech at Open Road BMW. Paid for the oil and filter ect. and allowed him to do it. My concern is since the Porsche truck's oil change had their process ( 2 hr process and 200 point inspection ) .... Does the same thing apply to the Lincoln? Am I making a mistake not taking it to the certified Ford techs?(I am taking into consideration using FULL Synthetic oil) Is there a special kind of oil needed? or am I just being over protective like a single mother with their first and only child (Laugh out Loud). Thank You in Advance = )
Michael Katz
Do you really think the Porsche dealer is spending 2 hours and doing 200 point inspections? I seriously doubt it!! Your car does not need it anyway!!
