RRich Posted April 27, 2015 Share Posted April 27, 2015 Hi, Thanks for the welcome. I'm the recent 2nd owner of a 2010 MKZ. It has amazingly low miles (just over 15k miles) but I just realized there's an issue with the tail / brake lights. The left side only lights the center row for brake lights and when lights are on. The right side lights all three rows for brake lights. When the lights are on, all three rows stay on as if brakes are on (applying brakes makes no difference). drolds1 Posted April 27, 2015 Share Posted April 27, 2015 Welcome, RRich. This is a known problem and Ford has extended the warranty on the tail lights of these cars for 10 years. See this post. When you have a question, it's always a good idea to use the search function above before creating a new thread. There's a likelihood that the issue has come up on the forums before.
