Pat Williams
Touch screen shows every finger print. Keep using the cloth they gave us but doesn't really work well. Really looks terrible. Has anyone tried a screen protector and if so how's it working?

SteveB_TX
Where do you keep it so it's handy? It resides in the coin/ash tray thingie. It is second nature now to just grab it on the way to the MLT! :)

dwonder
For anybody wanting a cheaper brand or already a frequent Amazon customer like myself. It comes with 2. I just installed one on my 2017 MKZ last night...was like putting a screen protector on a phone. Works good and looks good. https://www.amazon.com/PcProfessional-Protector-Lincoln-Premiere-Navigation/dp/B01I4BZLKA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1470855257&sr=8-1&keywords=lincoln+mkz+touchscreen
Drwilsc
Fingerprints on MKZ screen are not nearly as bad as fingerprints on Cadillac CUE screen.

AZ MKZ h
I fell short of applying a protective cover on my '14 MKZ and the finger dots drove me nutz. I tried a stylist and it works ok, but regretted keeping it above the visor; in this heat, it was too hot to touch. Today, I'm buying one for the '17 newbe and now the only finger prints out there are with the FBI. ps - glad this topic was still around to get the links. hermans
Do the little old ladies still use oven mitts in the summertime? I lived there for 15 years and saw that often. AZ MKZ h and Robert Iggy Cerami
AZ MKZ h
Do the little old ladies still use oven mitts in the summertime? I lived there for 15 years and saw that often. I haven't seen that in a long time, but I could have used some OV-Gloves today trying to open the door handle.
MediumWilly22
I'll vouch for the Nushield. It works great. Not only keeps the fingerprints at bay, it also helps with the sun glare from the pano roof. I can actually see my screen now. It also gives the somewhat matte appearance of the display a deeper almost glass look. I'm very happy with mine. AZ MKZ h
I'll back the Nushield protector as well. Bought the DayVue style because of the bright AZ sun and the Pano Roof etc., but I'm thinking the extra buck or so might not have been necessary. The order process was fast and the shield was fairly easy to apply...I waited for a cool morning time. The finger dots aren't gone completely but don't show as bad until you get the right sunlight angle. That said, it's saving the original screen from abuse and I do like it.
