4N1M4L
I just noticed on the owners page an update is available which might revive text messaging on android devices and had my day made. It's already in the sync specific forum, but I didn't know about it which means other people probably didn't either. Features 1. Enhanced Bluetooth connection stability. 2. Enabled track information to be displayed for blue tooth I streamed media 3. More robust MAP (yay!) 4. Improved connectivity for USB connected apple devices. 5.previous usb or BT media source playback now resumed after ignition cycle

4N1M4L
I had to let it sit for a long time. Try running the version checker tool first.
JayD
I couldnt get mine to install,. It said install failed. any quirks I should know about? I had the same issue with mine - Install Failed I tried every possibly home install. Some of the 2010's have a finicky version of SYNC and this update will have to be installed at a dealer. I paid $50, against my salesman's annoyance with even paying for it to begin with.
sam24and48
I just purchased a 2011 with the Gen1 (coming from a focus with MFT) and I must say I like it much better. However I'm on version 3.2 and was looking to get the upgrade on the my lincoln/ sync site last night. It told me I was already updated so I started a chat with the sync help. Here's what they told me in brief since I didn't capture the chat log. The newest version was 4.4 and they pulled it because of some corruption in the code. To which I asked if there was an earlier version that was newer than mine since mine was at least 3+ years old. They said that as soon as a new one comes out they remove all old versions and I am pretty much stuck until they decide to release the next version. Any thoughts? Any ideas on how I can get an upgrade?
