Davisjl
Because the smart engineers at Ford don't know about Daylight time... The GPS satellites just spit out steady signal... the programmers are supposed to compensate for Daylight time; however, Ford seemed to forget that step. JoeBrown
I wondered about that also. Thought it was strange it didn't work when I told it to reset to the GPS clock. Oh well, it only takes about 3 seconds to do it manually. Robert Iggy Cerami
Robert Iggy Cerami
I was wondering since we change to daylight savings ahead of the rest of the world that the GPS reset will not work until everyone else changes...Just a thought
NV Rick
My previous '09 and '11 MKS leases never changed on their own either. I can deal with it twice a year. For the first time I can remember, I didn't realize the 'leap ahead' thing as Sunday and was confused when several clocks (that don't change automatically) showed different times. Robert Iggy Cerami
I think once the rest of the world changes to DST (March 29) then the GPS Clock Reset button should work.... I know it only takes a few seconds to adjust the clock manually and not a big deal... Just one of those folks were everything in my car needs to work as designed
JoeBrown
That's probably the problem. It's working as "designed". :) Robert Iggy Cerami

BTW, it is working as designed... it's just a poor design ;( Edited March 12, 2015 by Davisjl Robert Iggy Cerami and JoeBrown
