moeferg
I just bought a 2013 Linclon MKZ. There was a recall open on the car so I scheduled to take the car in for the recall. I also added the car to the Myford page as I also own a Ford F-150. When putting in the lincoln VIN and reviewing the info it said there was a Sync update. I told them at the service center what I saw and they said they would check into it. When I picked up the car they said that always happens and that there was no update. Anyone heard of this? drolds1
If it said there's a Sync update the there most likely is. I had one available and mine's a 2014. Firstly, register at the Lincoln Owner site instead of the Ford equivalent. You can go to syncmyride.com and answer the prompts. If there's an update for your car, there will be full instructions for downloading. Also seen here.

JoeBrown
I believe the most recent update was for the 2014 model year only. However, there's a chance the previous owner did not have the then current update installed in your 2013.
moeferg
The last install update was August of 2013. I am wondering if that is correct.
