Jason Vanderstelt
I just purchased a 2013 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. Its black on black with panoramic roof and every option. Great looking car. My only issue is it feels like a fish bowl with the clear windows. I want to tint in a classy way. I do not want it to look ghetto. Looking for advice on tint levels etc.

AZ MKZ h
Your MKZ will look great with the right window tint. With your dark interior, any tint will appear darker than it is. Depending on where you live, check with a reputable tinters as to the legal limit on tint grade and if you can tint the front door windows. Arizona is OK with the tint on the front door windows as long as it doesn't exceed 70/30; in the past I have been ticketed for having it to dark (cost me to remove and replace). I'd recommend using the same tint % all the way around, especially if you can do the front door windows...uniformity will make your car look that much better. I had my black Mustang's windows tinted and should have gone my shade lighter than I did. In the end, the tint looked way darker than the car once it was applied. heatherfeather
Thanks! It is Luxe metallic with pano roof and the 19" painted wheels. The exterior is exactly the same as the MKZ I saw at a Feb. auto show and really liked. This will be my first passenger car. My current crossover I have had over 10 yrs so I am really looking forward to getting the MKZ on Sat. The MKZ also has the tech package and the upgraded stereo. I was actually iffy on both options since I read mixed reviews on both of them. I wanted that exterior and pano so there was slim pickings even with doing the dealer trade. I could not special order at this time since certain incentives only apply to 2015. I was told they are making the 2016s now. AZ MKZ h
Luxe metallic with pano roof and the 19" painted wheels Good choice combo. The exterior color is nice, as well as the wheels but the pano roof is awesome. You'll love it. And of course, some window tinting is always cool.
