firstlincoln63
Hi, I'm new to the forum and new to my MKZ. So far, so good. I have the Reserve package with an embedded modem. Also have loaded the mobile app on two of my iPhones. Is there any way to turn off the locator feature? I certainly don't like the owner of the second phone knowing everywhere I have the car parked. Thanks,

moeferg
How can I tell if I have an embedded modem?
Robert Iggy Cerami
It's only avaliable on 2015 models with the reserve package.. Download the Sync Destinations APP that works great I used it on my 13. you just wont be able to remote start your car from your phone.. But you can find a destination and then send it to your Sync in your car..once you get in your car press the voice button and say services and it will ask you if you want to download the destination to your Nav... miahjera04
Is there an after market embedded modem that can be installed on older models? .. if I end up spending the $$ upgrading to sync 3, I'll be selling the infotainment out of my 16 with nav/embedded modem
