MKZ Guide
We did some house keeping here on the Lincoln MKZ Forum today by rearranged some forums, thus making them easier to find. The principle change was the creation of a Mod & Tech section for almost all categories in on section with forums arranged alphabetically. Further, we also moved some topics around that were posted in the wrong section. If you have any feedback, please share. michaelinokc

robertlane
We widened the screen width too - it was set to 1000 pixels, now it's set to 95% screen width. Does this make a difference to anyone?
SteveB_TX
Looks the same to me on the iPad. I guess. :)

I really think we should be able to delete OUR OWN messages. If you make a mistake of any kind the system is unforgiving.

If you make a mistake of any kind the system is unforgiving. We had this ability on a few sites, however, we people got hacked or someone got ahold of their password, all of their data was deleted. Mind you, someone could edit each post, but that takes more time. Something we'll look into.

Maybe that's the cost of getting "hacked". In any case I thank you for your consideration.

austin-tatious
I can't find how to edit my posts. Can they be edited? Or is the inability to edit intentional as deleting posts is? Even though I review the text etc. before posting, I still, due to fumble fingers or having written a confusing phrase, find it necessary to edit after posting. Appreciate your reply. Whoa! My mistake. ? It's the lincolnownersgroup mkz sub forum that I can't find how to edit. bbf2530
Hi austin. Happy to see you were able to figure out that issue. And don't worry, I have the same "fumble fingers" when typing, leading to similar editing afterwards...often. ? Concerning the "Lincoln Owners Group": If it is the same one I am a member of, there is an "Edit" button in the lower left of your posts, next to the "Report" button. However, there is a time limit for edits on that forum. The ability to edit posts there disappears (perhaps) a week or so after a reply is initially posted. I am not sure exactly what the limit is, so that is only an estimate. Good luck. Edited October 1, 2021 by bbf2530
Zondedo
Has anyone noticed all the annoying ads and pop ups? When did that change and why punish the forum members with that trash…

When did that change and why punish the forum members with that trash… I don't have ads and pop ups, but I have seen a few spam posts lately. They all seem to get removed quickly though. Maybe it is the browser you are using. Edited February 17, 2022 by leftoverture Robert Iggy Cerami
Zondedo
No changes to my browser…. I’m using Safari on my iPhone most of the time.
Multitask
pop ups, usually mean your browser has been compromised. I don't use pop up blockers, and this site has never done that... Ads that are part of another window is not good.. This site has some at the top (just to pay bills I'm sure) Robert Iggy Cerami
