AZ MKZ h
I enjoyed the Barrett Jackson Classic Car Show / Auction on Saturday, even when it rained. In the new car event tent, there was a beautiful 2015 MKZ in White Platinum with Hazelnut interior - mirror image of mine just a year newer. That was nice, but there were several 1948 Lincolns on display...what a classic automobile. I'm sure there is more weight in the bumper than my MKZ. robertlane
Those early Lincolns were just amazing beautiful. Here in the summer at the Henry Ford, there are a few events like Motor Muster and a lot of classic Lincolns attend = :baby:

robertlane
I've done many of the Barrett Jackson events in both Scottsdale and Las Vegas - Scottsdale is by FAR the better of the two. Not sure if they still have the one in Calf. running any longer.
AZ MKZ h
Update on the Barrett Jackson auction...touting historic highs at $130 Million in vehicles. Top sale: 1966 Shelby Cobra at 5.1 Million. I don't think it depreciated much when driven off the lot. Only 6.55 Million for automobilla. Sorry I don't know how much the '48 Lincoln went for. BlackPano
Very cool cars, I use to watch Barrett a decent bit when I lived with my parents. (my dad is a big car guy) Haven't seen it in a few years though. They always had at least 5 cars there that would make me pick my jaw up off the ground
