tysmagic Posted December 16, 2014 Share Posted December 16, 2014 I've been looking for some subtle mods to do to the MKZ. I've been researching the center dash speaker and it's mostly a plastic covering with a small actual hole for the sound to escape. Thinking of doing some tinkering with it and I'd like to remove it. Based on what I'm seeing I think it's got a screw or two at the front. Those are covered by the silver bezel around the radio. What I'm unsure of is does the silver around the radio just clip in or is it bolted down under the wood grain across the dash? Any info on removing it would be greatly appreciated!
