JoeBrown
I applied the latest SYNC update which is Gen2 - V3.7.I took delivery of my 2014 MKz in April, so it is a very recent update. It took about 20 minutes for it to apply. Everything went along well with no issues. One tip to duck a potential problem.Delete SYNC from your phone and your phone from SYNC. Once the update is completed pair it as if it was the first time. All of my settings were saved.I understand one of the changes is with the navigation. Now it will give you the estimated time of arrival at your destination instead of the time remaining.

NV Rick
The eta actually was available as an option. All you had to do was tap the time remaining to destination and a box would appear with the eta. Robert Iggy Cerami
JoeBrown
Now it's the default. I've noticed one big improvement with this update. I don't get SiriusXM drop-outs anymore. I went to places where I used to and the signal is solid there now. I'm sure there will be drop-outs but so far none. SteveB_TX
The newest update (3.7) is for 2014s, not 2013s. Bummer huh? :) Edited December 15, 2014 by SteveB_TX Robert Iggy Cerami

While driving alongside some power lines, I am getting dropouts where I have never, ever had them before. Weird how the same software will have different effects for different users. The only other thing I can think is that the sats are now in a slightly different position relative to my location.

I don't remember the "1" being there but I could be wrong.

All you had to do was tap the time remaining to destination and a box would appear with the eta. OK - that's what I though. Now it's probably just more apparent? tbird71
We have a 2010 MKT, same setup. I've decided NOT to add any updates, everything is working fine why take a chance? Besides it's not like we need it, NAV on this Hearse is great
JoeBrown
Robert Lane I'm pairing it with a Motorola RAZR flip phone. Works 100%.
