william
I have had a few times when the transmission shift really hard. Another time it acts like it's in neutral and only revs the engine, then finds a gear. Doesn't sound good does it, bad transmission?
drolds1
Take it in for service so they can check for any codes and run a full diagnostic on it. Edited November 21, 2014 by drolds1 william
william
I have it scheduled for next Friday. It seems the transmission tech is out on vacation. This will be the true test of the service experience.
StealthMKZ
I recently had a sensor go bad and was time for first oil change, my service experience was awesome! My dealer uses Enterprise for the loaner, service was first class. I hope you get the same treatment. Robert Iggy Cerami
william
Well,so far not so good. Granted the Lincoln service advisor was out so I had to deal with a Ford advisor. They weren't able to duplicate the shifting error so they are going to keep it overnight and re-test. As for the odor from the AC they have a "procedure" they will perform which will clear it up. I told him about the tsb and he said mine didn't qualify. Its strange the smell is only when the AC is on not the heat. The loaner car is 3 years old with 47k miles and absolutely beat all to hell and filthy. Acura gives you a 1 year or less old car. We will see what they tell me tomorrow. william
well I got my car back today. First, they were not able duplicate the problem. I also had the door repainted because of a overspray from the other dealer trying to fix a scratch they caused. Since was raining and cloudy Ill hold off on my comments on the job until I can see it. As for dealer experience it was by far the worst I have ever had to deal with. The service actually backed a car into another one and scraped the door. They parked my freshly painted car between 2 Ford F pickups so I had to squeze to get in. I will take it to Acura for service. They actually respect their customers.
