00Don Posted November 3, 2014 Share Posted November 3, 2014 I found some information on this forum relating to this and low battery... but my battery is fairly new. A few weeks ago the cross-traffic warning noise increased in volume significantly over the prior day - and it has remained VERY loud ever since. Very irritating!! Any ideas on what's happening and how I can lower the volume again? This is the cross-traffic sound... not the proximity alert. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
4N1M4L Posted November 5, 2014 Share Posted November 5, 2014 My experience was that the cta system made that speaker get a rattle, which made it louder. I might have a solution in a bit. I'm troubleshooting dtc c1742 which is the sounds circuit failure.
