The gauge on the dash will sometimes read at 1/8 in the morning or when it's really hot out. It very rarely goes over half; although I have seen it at full every once in a while. I ride 'in the blue' a lot and that's why I'm constantly at 41 mpg. My normal range is between 1/4 and 1/2 on the gauge. I'm coming up to 100k on the my 2017. as an aside: I noticed that the 'spinning' wheel will happen when I let off the gas. Does the engine recharge the battery while it's running?
