dgmkz Posted March 27, 2023 Share Posted March 27, 2023 (edited) Hey guys, I trying to buy a replacement key fob for my 2016 MKZ. OEM if possible and not too expensive. I checked a few online Ford dealers and it says it's discontinued. One of the local dealers says he has a couple and wants somewhere around $200. Does anyone know what is really going on? Are they really discontinued? Are the dealers selling aftermarket fobs? Is there an aftermarket source that is reliable and less expensive? Any info would be appreciated. Edit: Also, I found a couple of Ford dealers say part number 164-R7991 and some say 164-R7990. What is the difference between the two?
