Audio Off?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

My 2017 Lincoln MKZ was at the dealership for repair and I just got it back today (after 5 LONG months). My radio was working when I dropped it off at the dealership and now it just says Audio Off. The bluetooth will connect and I can use the other tabs on the screen, just not the Audio tab and, of course, no sound will come out. I have done the master reset option as well as the mini reset (holding power button with forward seek button) to no avail.

Does anyone else have any suggestions before I have yet another conversation with the poor service write whose had to deal with me the past 5 months?

Unsure of the type of repair you were in for, but perhaps they just left something unplugged.

If you have Forscan software you could check that all modules are communicating. Particularly the ACM and the APIM.

If not, I had post that described using the bezel diagnostics.

Hi ashopi18 and welcome to the Lincoln MKZ Forums. Sorry to hear you are having issues. My recommendation: While you are waiting for a possible online solution which may or may not work, immediately call back the Service Department your Dealership and tell them about this issue. You need to do this in order to avoid the possibility that they can claim it is something they are not responsible for, because it must have happened after you took your vehicle home.

Keep us updated and good luck.
