BoBowen69
The LED strip under the headlight bulb and the turn signal LED both went out at the same time. Is there no other way to replace the LED? The assembly is on back order except the extremely expensive ones.
drolds1
Welcome to the MKZ Forum. Your question has been moved to an appropriate section of the forums. The Forum Help & Suggestions area in tended for questions and comments about the operation of the website itself, not for discussions about the MKZ. WRT your question, AFAIK, no portion of the headlight assembly is available as a separate part. What MY is your car? Mileage? Is it still covered under the 4/50 B2B warranty? Have you had this diagnosed by a dealer?
BoBowen69
Great, thank you. She’s a 2017 MKZ premier. 122000 miles so no warranty. Dealer no. Could it be something besides a headlight.
rubyinla
Holy cow... $1150!! https://www.silverstatefordparts.com/search?search_str=Headlight&ptid=2796 If I got the model right, they're a lot cheaper, "pre-owned" from Ebay. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1311&_nkw=2017+lincoln+mkz+headlight&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_odkw=Headlamp+Assembly+-+Ford+%28HP5Z-13008-K%29&_osacat=

Could it be something besides a headlight. Is the headlight itself is still working? It could be a module or a wiring problem. A dealer, or independent shop with a proper scan tool, could pull a code, but of course, there'll be a diagnostic charge.
