thedub
My 2015 MKZ H has had a reoccurring issue with the dash lighting up like a Christmas tree with Pre-Collision, and Advance Trac lights etc all coming on. Stopping the car, shutting off the engine, and restarting typically resets the lights and the problem goes away for a "while" . Lincoln Dealer on 1st visit replaced Dynamic module and problem went away for a few weeks but returned, 2nd visit replace wheel speed sensor , problem went away for a few weeks but has again returned. Has anyone come across this before??

Has anyone come across this before?? Hi thedub and welcome to the Lincoln MKZ Forum. First place to check would be the 12v battery. A failing battery can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins similar to what you are experiencing. How old is your 12v battery? If it is the original factory battery, it is long past due for replacement. Your Dealership Service Department should have tested the battery, but we can't be sure of that at this point. Therefore, I would start with a proper load test of your battery. Not an old fashioned battery meter test, but a full, battery load test. There are usually coupons available on the Lincoln and Ford Owner websites, and on most individual Dealer websites, for a free battery test. Let us know how you make out and good luck. thedub
Thanks for the response , I'll check with the dealer when they respond to my latest email - thx
Eliteswisher
Did you have any updates? I’m having the exact same issue on my 2015 MKZ Hybrid. They said the battery was okay, but it could be numerous other things related to battery installation (corrosion, grounding, fuse etc). It’s such a pain! thedub
The dealer gave me the run around and stopped returning calls ..but on the bright side the problem hasn't returned in months now ...fingers crossed
Eliteswisher
I feel like a lot of dealers are sucking right now. Tom roush hasn’t answered their phone in months. what do you think was causing it? Did you do anything different? my tires are worn out badly, I’m wondering if changing them will reset it. It may be slipping.

thedub
Yes, was the same here - wheel sensor replacement fixed the issue ... of course after they replaced a dynamic control mod first ($1K) ......
