valpomarine Posted April 23, 2022 Share Posted April 23, 2022 Has Ford done a special extended warranty on the middle tail light of 2013 MKZs? ( Like they did for 2010-2011-Mkz tail light issues.) I'm asking because the drivers side of mine has one dead LED and sometimes that whole drivers side of it is dark, while the passenger side is all on. I am out of the B2B warranty and the dealer wants $1,600 to replace the entire middle tail light in the trunk lid. Any insight on this issue would be greatly appreciated. drolds1 Posted April 23, 2022 Share Posted April 23, 2022 Unfortunately, no. This is the first I'm hearing of 2013+ tail light failure on this forum. There are some used units available on eBay. Here's a salvage unit for $295. You can do a national search for parts online. There are numerous sources. A local auto parts recycler is another source.
