leftoverture Posted January 25, 2022 Share Posted January 25, 2022 My Lincoln Way app has stopped working. Last time it communicated with the car is 1/19. Anyone else having issues? If it will not work, try deleting the app from your smartphone and reinstalling. If that does not work, then call Lincoln Concierge. Let us know how you make out and good luck. leftoverture Posted January 25, 2022 Author Share Posted January 25, 2022 Wierd thing tonight, I was leaving church and I used the remote start on the app and it said it failed to start, but when I walked out the car was running. It also says it is connected to the car when I'm driving, but it's not registering the odometer or anything. Sounds like you guys aren't having any issues though, so it's just me and my car. Sorry is this seems like a dumb question, but concerning your statement that "...it's not registering the odometer or anything.": Do you mean the the odometer reading on the app is not increasing as you drive? Or is the odometer reading not showing up on the app at all? I am assuming you mean it is not showing on the app at all...since it will not increase as we drive. At least not in any smooth/linear sort of way. Again, sorry for the dumb question, but I just wanted to be sure I understand that issue correctly. Good luck. Multitask Posted January 25, 2022 Share Posted January 25, 2022 about a year ago, the LW app was acting odd, they had me uninstall it, and use the method of adding it back (that was diff from what I did before) and it worked. It hasn't been 100% , but at least it does work about 80% of the time. Like I said, it is not programed very well. It normally will show current mileage at the end of a drive (I don't have it open on my phone as I drive). The mileage is there but it is showing the odometer as of 1/19, which is the last date it updated. I've never had even the slightest issue before. I'm actually not convinced it is the app that is the problem but more like the car's modem isn't working. Today I tried connecting to my work wireless when I got here and it would not connect. leftoverture Posted January 25, 2022 Author Share Posted January 25, 2022 So what I have determined is the signal gets to the car from my phone but the signal from the car does not get back to my phone. So the remote start will start the car, but the "started" signal won't get back to my phone so the app doesn't know the car has started. So I tend to think the modem is only receiving and not sending. At least I'm under warranty for a short time yet so they should fix it.
