My apologies, Ididnt realize the "fake" got deleted. I am refering to the fake engine noise. Not a ground loop.

Hi 3mKz3. Since you state you turned off ANC, what you are hearing is most likely not the synthesized engine noises, but some sort of interference from the new audio components you installed. Especially since you state you turned it off through FORScan.

Keep in mind, turning off the ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) feature of our MKZ's (in order to turn off the synthesized engine sound) will also increase overall interior cabin noise.

Normal troubleshooting steps would lead one to believe that if an issue was not there previously, and then begins when new  components are installed, then it is being caused by the new components. A bad ground or some other type of electrical/electronic feedback or other issue would be among the possible causes.

You may want to reach out to the shop you where you purchased your "components".

Or you can contact Crutchfield for their expert advice. They may be able to recommend what you can do to fix this issue: https://www.crutchfield.com/S-TySpDngCkBk/

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

He is referring to settings that disable the auto noise cancelling and "fake" engine noises by disabling in forscan. It changes configuration on the module. While its not difficult to do, unless you're well versed in doing this its best to just stay clear as you can mess stuff up.

You could skip the lc7i if you wanted by also using forscan to configure the Audio Control Module so that the speaker outputs become low level signal just like a preamp RCA. In doing so, all digital signal processing is disabled. This is a perfect solution to bass clipping as you turn up your system. Then use an amplifier with built in equalizer to set things up the way you want. The downside is you have to run speaker wire to the doors and amplify those signals, and its a major pita thanks to the molex connectors blocking the path.
