drolds1
This past Saturday evening, as I was driving in a completely open area, the "No GPS" message and icon appeared on the screen, yet the map was showing the correct area and movement, so I tried programming a destination. That worked perfectly as well. After I restarted at my destination, there was no message but after driving for a minute, it reappeared. Everything was still working properly. Yesterday, the message was permanently gone. I checked GPS.gov and there were no reported outages or glitches for Saturday. Weird, just weird.? At least not that I saw. I was going to mention possible outages, but you seem to have ruled that out (although I would guess brief/small outages could go undetected). Have you checked with the Service Department at your Dealership to see if it may be a known issue (i.e. a failing SAT module/APIM/harness/connector etc.)? Let us know how you find out and good luck. No. I haven't taken it in, since it was gone the next day and hasn't recurred. Plus, the warning was apparently a false alarm since the map/nav worked perfectly. If that hadn't been the case, I would have made a service appointment. Hopefully, that won't happen.
Chris109
This is strange. It happened to me within the last 7+ days. I do not remember what day it was but I recall seeing that message. It may also have been a time when I did not have my phone with me. So, maybe there is a correlation between the two. I know I get some message about sync services being disabled when my phone is not with me.
R2D2
Happened at least twice to my 2014 when I still had it, I am almost sure I posted a thread on here but can't locate it, I tried searching for "GPS" & "NAV" but no results shown.....maybe the search engine is not working because it didn't show this thread either. Edited to add Found it https://lincolnmkzforum.com/topic/1760-loss-of-sat-signals/?tab=comments#comment-6672 Still not sure why "Search could not find it by "NAV" as that was in the body of the OP..... maybe search word too short, I found it by search for "satellite" Edited September 18, 2021 by R2D2 Added info

When I did set a destination, it worked perfectly. R2D2
