Julie Leitzman Howard Posted September 1, 2014 Share Posted September 1, 2014 I have a 2007 MKZ. The previous owner had HID headlights installed. The installers did not replace the rubber piece that seals the back of the headlight where the wires go through. Needless to say I now have moisture and dirt inside the headlight. Is there a way to pull the covers from the outside to clean? I have had to remove HID's due to a problem on the left side. Before installing new ones and a wiring harness, I want to eliminate the problem. I have purchased the missing rubber piece. Any guidance is appreciated.
