Surfbug1
Hi, I'm new. I like the MKz. I got a caddy cts , instead of the MKz , and I'm sorry I did. Now, I'm ready to trade up! But....the leather seems to be different quality between the few 2016s I have seen. Is there a way to tell what leather comes with what trim level? I'm searching on car gurus, so I would like to be able to tell the difference before I go visit each dealer. Lol. Kinda like the Corvettes, LT 1 thru LT 4.... Is there a different designation for the MKz and what designation has the 'better leather'. Thanks! Surf
Surfbug1
Ok, it seems there are three types of trim for interior. Looks like I need SELECT to get a better leather. ... Choices are Premier, Select, and Reserve. I attached a screen shot! Thanks and will keep u updated what I choose. Now, what performance things can I do to this vehicle..... ? surf. bbf2530
Hi surf. Yes, for leather seating surfaces, you will need either the Select trim level (Leather-trimmed seats), or the Reserve trim level (Perforated Leather-trimmed seats). The perforated leather seats are to accommodate the cooling function. Lowest to highest, the trim levels are "Premier" (base), "Select" (mid), "Reserve" (top). Not sure if "Black Label" was available for the 2016 model year. Good luck. Edited June 30, 2021 by bbf2530 Robert Iggy Cerami
