Another MKZ newb

So I took a huge chance.  I had never been in an MKZ before and there aren't a ton of videos about them online.  I was considering the Germans but couldn't afford a v6 version of them.  Loved most Audi features except the dang center screen.

I also thought about a Charger.  But the interior of them are so blah, and couldn't really afford the scat pack.

Thought about getting another SHO.  I had a 2011 until 1.5 years ago and loved it, but turbos went out on it.  Plus, even tho newer ones were much updated, it still had the same engine. So that's how I landed on MKZ.

I wanted the Reserve trim and the 20 speaker system.  Pre-approved thru Capital one I looked within 200 miles (I am in middle of nowhere, between Nashville tn and Jackson tn) but only found a 2017 in Birmingham...no luxury package or tech package.  I extended search.  The one I found in Ohio was a decent 2018, but they wouldn't give me what I wanted for my truck on trade (2016 extended cab lariat v8) and car price was too high when I found out their pricing scheme.

Called on one in SC but they never called back, prolly sold.  Then I found it.

Northeast of Atlanta- 2018, under 30k miles, tech-luxury-driver packages.  Black.

They gave me more for my truck than the sale price I got it for 16 months ago, and they drove the car over 5 hours to deliver it to me!

Initially I was disappointed as it is much smaller than it looks in pics.  I had never driven a fusion so I didn't know, and the few videos online don't really show the size.  Granted, I am coming from a big truck so I figure it will take a bit of getting used to.

However, when I drove it down the gravel road to the highway and started rocking Spotify thru Bluetooth i was digging it.  That fist zero to sixty (maybe 80) blew my mind.  That 3.0 is an impressive engine!

The tires are at end of life, so if you have recommendations let me know. I tried tire rack via chat and email and they didn't listen to my concerns.

Anyways, I knew tires were low tread when I bought online- my truck tires were low tread too, so fair is fair.

Anyways, hoping to revive this board a bit...I don't know much about cars but I am a learner.  The Sho forum was great.  Cheers all!
