Is the Zephyr Reflection made in PRC?

Hi 17MKZ. I am not 100% sure where it will be manufactured. However, that may be the case currently, since it will be sold there and I believe it is the main target market (since other than the Mustang, Lincoln/Ford no longer offers cars in the U.S.).

Good luck.

I have no use for an electric vehicle. Zip, zero, zilch.

1) I live in a condo and have nowhere to charge an electric car and there is no infrastructure here to support installing chargers for residents. This is the same situation for tens of millions of Americans who live in apartments and condos.

2) I can fill the tank of my MKZ in 3 minutes and have over 400 miles of highway range. Why would I trade that for a car that requires hours to charge for far less range?

3) Electric cars cost far more than gasoline cars, which are already too expensive. I make very good money but can't afford a modern electric car. How will the vast majority of people in lower income brackets ever afford an electric car?

Electric cars are not a viable alternative to ICE powered cars for the vast majority of the world's population. That's just plain fact.

Hi lo. This thread was started by drolds1 to point out his hope that the discontinued MKZ may be resurrected here in the US.  Therefore, lets leave the ICE versus electric arguments for somewhere else.

Obviously, you should feel free to start your own thread in the lounge to discuss ICE versus electrics.

In the end, there are answers for everything. And some things are eventually inevitable. And many of us likely will not need to worry about it in our lifetime.

However,  this thread is not the place for those discussions and arguments.

Good luck.

I respectfully disagree. The thread title is "Lincoln Going All Electric by 2030". This suggest this is a discussion about electric vehicles from Lincoln, in which case my comments seem appropriate to me. An all electric vehicle is no replacement for my Mkz.

Hi lo. I respectfully understand your point of view. However, the thread title simply states a fact, it does not ask a question. Then, as drolds1 stated, "I wonder if they'll sell the Zephyr Reflection is the U.S. after all." That is his question. Not ICE versus Electric vehicles or whether we like electric vehicles.

If you wish to discuss ICE versus Electrics, you are free to begin your own thread on that subject.

And for the sake of context: You have now twice stated your opinion about electric vehicles, in two different replies. And those off-topic replies have not been removed.

And I have not argued your point, or expressed any opinion of my own either way on the subject.

However, with all due respect, they are off-topic, and future off-topic replies will be deleted.

Good luck.
