Krcatl1991
So I have a 2013 MKZ 3.7L with adaptive cruise control. I was gone for 3 weeks and returned to a dead battery. When I jumped it, sync said vehicle was in transportation mode. After a restart that went away. But ever since my cruise control no longer works. I thought maybe it was because the battery was bad and I replaced it and still is not working. Even if I go into settings and try to choose between normal and adaptive cruise control, it doesn't give me the option to choose either. Does anyone have an idea as to what the problem is? Thanks! drolds1
When you replace the 12V battery in these cars, the battery management system (BMS) has to be reset. Otherwise, the car "thinks" that there's still a dead battery. Leave the car undisturbed for 8 hours and see what happens. IDK if this will fix the problem, but it's worth a shot. It won't cost you anything. Krcatl1991
