tiktok4321
I just bought a 2013 Hybrid MKZ with 50,000 miles. I've noticed a slightly hollow sound of the right rear shock. Anyone know if this is a known issue or of looking at the shocks is the wrong direction?

Shock problems are not a "known" or common issue. However, there is no way to blind Internet diagnose and say it is or is not the shocks. Perhaps one of our tech members may be able to jump in and offer more help. Keep us updated and good luck.
tiktok4321
You know, I found another post where the user replaced the rear control arm and made a video. That could be the culprit.

That could be the culprit. Hi tiktok. It "could be". However, it could also be multiple other causes. Therefore, I would recommend you delve deeper into diagnosing or having someone properly diagnose the actual cause, before starting to throw parts at the problem. Good luck. tiktok4321
I agree. I wouldn't jump on that before confirming the bushing was bad. Have Lincoln owners found themselves gouged by mechanics because they are in a premium Lincoln even though it's mechanically similar to a Fusion? I have not had the experience of being gouged. And I always shop around for price before having any work performed. Good luck.
