No real world advantage for the dry ones. And the oiled ones often cause issues with the MAF sensor. Just stick with the Motorcraft air filter or an OEM equivalent. The engine gets more than enough air flow already. Personally, I use the Motorcraft filter. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
