Hi Royshard and welcome to the Lincoln MKZ forum. First, do you own an MKX or MKZ? If an MKZ, is is a 2008, and therefore equipped with the 3.5L V-6? How long has this been happening? Is the "Check Engine light illuminated? Any other warning lights? Noises. Can you restart it? After how long? How old is the battery etc etc?

Essentially, without more information, some sort of DTC codes, Check Engine light, warning lights etc, there is no way to blind diagnose a stalling issue over the Internet. Even with more information, blind Internet diagnosis is extremely difficult to impossible.

Also, the "Forum Help and Suggestions" sub-forum is for help and issues with the website itself. Therefore, your post will be moved to the "General Engine, Powertrain & Transmission" sub-forum, where it will hopefully receive more attention.

Keep us updated and good luck.

Yes it's been happening about two months and no lights are illuminated until the truck shuts down. It always start right up for now and I'm not sure about the battery. We only had this truck about six months but we have not purchased a new battery yet. We haven't heard any noises but it kind of act like it hesitates to crank sometimes

Hi Royshard. Okay, then the first step I would recommend is having the battery professionally load tested (not a old fashioned battery test, they are not accurate). You can often find coupons for a free battery test on the Ford owners website.

Other than that, there is no reliable way to diagnose and give you any sort of accurate help with the problem. Even with DTC error codes (i.e. if you were to take your vehicle to an AutoZone to have it checked for stored DTC codes), it would be difficult to properly diagnose a problem by blind Internet diagnosis.

Next, just to be sure: You state "We only had this truck about 6 months." Are you aware this is a Forum for the Lincoln MKZ 4 door sedan/car, not for the Lincoln MKX SUV/"truck"? What do you own, an MKX or an MKZ?

Good luck.
