darcyjimmylo
I have a 2014 MKZ with a panoramic sunroof. The glass slides back and forth with ease. No issues there. The one that I do have is that the sunshade has become "unglued" to the track and the track is now malfunctioning. The shade will slide back and forth, but rather than roll up neatly when pulled back, it just bunches and droops down. I want to replace it without the costly repair of the entire shade. Is it possible to just have the track repaired?
Artie
I just fixed mine. I reached up there where the shade rolls up and I cut out the metal strips as close to the roller as I could with some cutting piers. My strip broke loose from the front of the shade and was balling up and getting in the way. After I cut them out...the shade is smooth, quiet, and rolls all the way back. This worked for me...hope it will work for you. RAB and Robert Iggy Cerami

Our sunshade came unglued from the track on the right side only and I can't even open it because it now opens crooked about 4 inches and gets stuck. Then it's hell to get it closed again. I'm trying to see if I can just temporarily fix it so it works and opens/closes until I can afford to buy the replacement. I really miss opening the sunroof.
