bbf2530
Hi gang. For those who are coming close to an expired Sirius radio subscription or have cancelled due to the high renewal price: SiriusXM is currently running a special of $5 a month for 12 months, plus a free Amazon Echo Dot. My current subscription was expiring in January, so I just renewed for the promotional offer. Comes to about $77 a year with tax/fees. Take a look here: SiriusXM - Stream or Listen to Music, Entertainment, Sports & More The offer is towards the top left of the screen. Good luck. ? drolds1
Yeah, I keep getting that offer except it's for my 2017, which I no longer have. Sure, I'll renew it so the new owner can have Sirius for free.? My 6-month free trial expired in August. I renewed at a lot lower rate than I was initially offered. I can't remember what it was. It wasn't $5/month but it was something in single digits.
fusionff
I let my subscription end a while ago, and I am always offered the $5 a month for a year constantly. They recently activated Sirius on most channels from Nov 19th through Dec 1st, and I just cannot accept the compressed music that's offered, a few channels sound better than others, but I just cannot pay for that quality of sound. I know there's more to Sirius than just music, but that's all I ever used it for. You can check and see if there is a Sirius special offer for your account HERE. I've gotten anywhere from 3 to 6 months free for Spotify Premium, Tidal Hifi, and Amazon HD, and they all sound better than Sirius. Spotify Premium is most likely my favorite of them all, which I currently have for free through February again. But soundwise, I'll choose my I-Touch over them all. Multitask
When I had it for free for 6 months, i let it expire... even at $5 it is not worth it. The quality is not very good.... If they offered 6 years free, I wouldn't mind... I get the nav for that long, why not give radio too. ?
kramf411
The only SiriusXM channel I like and most listen to and with an okay sound quality is CH66 Watercolors. I let my trial expire as well and also have been receiving promos online and physical mail. The annoying thing, for me, about SiriusXM and when I was having a free trial of XM radio (before the merge) is that when passing under an electrical power line, I always get a pause in my feed. I currently have 3-month free trial of Amazon HD. SQ is better. EDIT Oh by the way, does the subscription includes traffic info? I thought it did but, I'm not quite sure or maybe it was something else. Edited December 4, 2020 by kramf411 info
TomV
I doubt it includes traffic info. When I first purchased my MKZ, I was able to transfer my lifetime SiriusXM radio subscription from my Fusion for $80, but lost the Infotainment package that Lincoln was to provide for 6 years. Since that is the cheaper subscription, I purchased the Infotainment for a couple years on my own.
Chris109
I just received an offer in the mail about 3 months free. Not gonna do it, tho. Like others have said, the compression makes my head want to explode, even when it's only talk radio.
