JoeBrown
On a recent road trip of about 160 miles with my 2014 3.7L AWD, with 1,400 miles on it, I got 22.4 mpg running pretty much at the 65 mph speed limit. I'm sure when it's broken in I'll get a bit better.

JediBoyTJ
on my old 2007 MKZ I got an average of 15-17mpg. 95% city driving, usually short trips as my commute to work is like <3 miles. I was lucky to get 230miles on a tank. Now on the highway and road trips, it was between 24-27mpg. I was definitely better off upgrading to the hybrid :P
Rusty Boltz
Update: Been doing some highway driving. MPG is up to 24.7 now.
Joseph Park
2011 MKZ AWD. Have 45k on the car. Live in the North East Average 26-27 straight highway Summer 19-20 combined mixed 60% city 40% highway Winter 17-18 combined mixed 60%-40% Overall the mpg estimates have met my expectations. It still boggles me how the AWD version gets as good gas millage as SUVs or even some trucks. I probably drive 7-8k miles a year so gas millage isn't a huge deal but next MKZ I will defiantly not opt for AWD.
