N.shift Posted September 19, 2020 Share Posted September 19, 2020 My CD player in my 2009 MKZ non touch screen and non gps constantly sounds like it’s try to eject or load a disc. After about 3 minutes it stops and reads disc error. There is no discs inside the DVD player. It’ll do that if I open my door even with key out of ignition. It’ll do it if I start my car as well. I thought about just trying to cut the power to the CD player as I don’t use it. The rest of the stereo works great. I just want to try to cut power to the CD player only. I want to keep power to the rest of the stereo. Is that possible? If so, what wire? Ty Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
