StealthMKZ
Hey everyone, newbie from So Cal...recently traded in my '13 Focus ST for a '14 MKZ Hybrid Dune on Dune. Prior to the ST I had a '07 GT Mustang. I still have a '10 Focus SEL, '12 Focus Titanium and a '08 F450. I'm familar with forums being active on both the Mustang and Focus sites. I enjoyed the ST a lot, but unfortunately my ever-changing, middle aged body never got comfy in the Recaro seats, and I really needed a bit more space for travel, business, and passengers. I stumbled across my first MKZ while getting some parts at my dealership, was initially impressed but I didn't have time to really check it out. The following weekend after a mexican dinner and a couple cadillac margaritas, we stopped by the dealer and looked closer at them ...the truth is, it took 2 Cadillacs to drive home a Lincoln. I can never leave a car alone... 30% tint all around, found some take off 19" wheels on Ebay, partially debadged the rear...
drolds1
Nice. I actually prefer those 19" wheels to the ones that came on my car (polished aluminum with painted pockets). Welcome to the forum.

hermans
If the Dune paint color had been available for the 2013 - I would have ordered that instead of the Ruby Red.
SteveB_TX
My second choice was Champagne, but the dealership didn't have one with all the goodies I wanted, so I went with my first choice of Platinum White, although it was missing the inflatable rear seat belts. Oh well. Gotta compromise sometimes. (Wish Congress would learn that. LOL) :) KenZ and StealthMKZ

StealthMKZ
thanks for the welcome ..so did everyone else get a spare tire pump and sealant? So far my dealership has not been able to get me one. Also a little disappointed with the sound system, the Sony system in my Focus ST was way better...anything over half volume my speakers are distorted especially the front center one. I have the "donut" spare. I was under the impression that only the hybrids come with the sealant and pump. Do you have the THX system or the standard? I had a loaner with the standard system and there was a difference.

StealthMKZ
Do you have the THX system or the standard? I had a loaner with the standard system and there was a difference. I wish I had researched that...this mkz was one of those advertised "specials" with a great price, guess I will live with it for the next couple of years...next time I will def get the upgrade.
