drolds1
Funny that this should come up now. Some of us have been talking about this pipe dream for years but gave up by now. From Autoline.TV: Quote LINCOLN DEVELOPING NEW COUPE? Could a new version of the Lincoln MKVIII be coming out? It’s a possibility. Autoforecast Solutions reports that Ford is going to start building a Lincoln coupe in China in 2023 that fits into the C/D segment. That’s all the information we have for now, but what do you think it should be named? MK9 or maybe something else? It could just be for the Chinese domestic market and may be a 4-door "coupe" if it does come to pass. Then again, they do have a ready-made RWD platform from the new Explorer/Aviator. It would surely be hybrid, BEV or PHEV if it's for the Chinese market. Or the Mustang Mach-e platform?
