Looking for Passenger Side headlight replacement

Hey guys, I'm looking for a replacement Passenger side headlight for my 17 Premiere.

When I first bought the car, a nasty tire tread smacked the hood and I guess the light. So now it's got a nice crack almost all the way up the clear cover.

I've already glued it, but I'm just not satisfied.

By chance does anyone have one they would sell me ? I really only need the cover, but I'm guessing it's sealed and I need the whole assembly.

Thank you Fellas!

Hi Kevin. You are correct, the housing is sealed. If no one can sell you one here, your best bets (in probable order of cost) would be to try Salvage Yards in your area. If that does not work, then eBay (but you don't always know what quality you will get). Then Ford online parts sellers would probably be the next choice. Finally, the most expensive option would be your local Lincoln or Ford Dealers.

If you could find just a lens, you could try to heat the housing to loosen the adhesive, remove the old lens, replace and reseal the new one etc. But even if that worked (I do not know if it can be done on this generation MKZ), you would probably wind up with an improperly sealed unit, and have condensation issues in the future.

Hopefully someone here may have one to sell you. Good luck.

Find out you can get used one on Ebay (if you want to pay $600 for ONE)... but I'm not going for that. My Drivers side also has a crack, so hello 3M clear repair tape. You can't even tell it's on there. I'll watch the cracks going forward to see if the adhesive plays any role. If it holds, good enough ? . If not, looks like I'll replace both assemblies at once since apparently you have to take the front fascia off anyway.

Hi Kevin. Yes the front fascia does need to come off. So replacing them at the same time would be a good idea, if they are both cracked anyway.

No luck checking local Salvage Yards?

Let us know how you make out, and good luck.

CAR INSURANCE?  If what hit you came off the CAR or truck in front of you his insurance or collision unless you only had comprehensive I'd never drive this car without full coverage. I was looking around for an LED headlight bulb and none are available which means you must buy the entire housing from the dealer. Adaptive headlights must be 1200 or more

Black Beauty, I did file a claim, since it was caused by hitting the tire tread as I changed lanes... All was good until they told me I couldn't prove the tread his both lenses and I would have to a pay a deductible for each light. So, not worth $2,000 to me. Lights still work great. I did end up getting some thin headlight glue for the crack, once that dried I put 3M rubber cut adhesive headlight film on them.

The cracks haven't moved since, so hopefully all good.
