I understand they help control heat, but I was reading about rattling noises developing from the waste gate and am curious if a turbo blanket could help prolong its life? I found this one advertised online and it looks interesting, especially if it can be installed without removing the turbo from the vehicle. wjr249 Posted August 22, 2020 Share Posted August 22, 2020 I am interested in this as well and have been looking at temperature test on other vehicles, a blanket looks like it would help decrease the under hood temps.
