Jakevandee
Hi, has anyone replaced speakers on their 2013-2016 MKZ? The door speakers seem pretty straight forward, but the center speaker seems to have rivets. Has anyone replaced any speakers and/or had any problems? Thanks. For audio system questions, I would highly recommend contacting Crutchfield and accessing their knowledge base: https://www.crutchfield.com/S-CAOCldGo3fC/ They can tell you what will and will no work with your particular vehicle. They are very good. You can find out what may fit and then go from there. Once you know what will work, you can either purchase from them or shop around. Their prices are very good (but not rock bottom lowest). If you purchase from them, they supply detailed installation instructions, all necessary wiring harnesses/connectors etc. And they give lifetime technical support. I have used them myself. Let us know how you make out and good luck.

I replaced the rear deck speakers with a sub last year and have been wanting to upgrade the doors too. Have you had any issues with the ANC having feedback? With none, I used silicone to keep it in place.

Did you only use the metra adapter to the crossover or did you splice from the tweeter wire?

From the metra adapter. Another way is to use a 4.7uF capacitor connected to the tweeter. It would be the POS side of the wire to the NEG side of the capacitor then the POS side of the capacitor to the POS side of the tweeter. This way you won't need the crossover. Awesome, thanks for the tremendous help. Now I just gotta figure out how to mount the woofer correctly.

TomV
I just stumbled across these Focal Inside IS FORD 165 replacement speakers. A little pricey, but they are good quality and installation should be straight forward. Focal Inside IS FORD
