Multitask
So I was wondering if there are setting to tell the memory seats just how far (or where) to move to when I turn off the engine... right now it's ok , but I would like it to go a tad lower to I can get in and out easier. Where it goes now means haveing to tilt my head a bit to get in and out... and the seat can go lower... I'd like it to go about 2 inches more down. ? No, unfortunately there is no setting to change the exit parameters. I will check my MKZ, but I believe the exit feature only runs the seat back on the track, and does not change the height, seat back rake etc.
kramf411
Is it an option to use/program one of your memory seat buttons for this purpose?

Sure, you can program memory button #1 for your seat position, and program button #2 to run the seat all the way back and down to exit. But then you will need to hit button #2 every time you get out of the car, and then hit button #1 every time you get back into the car to reset your driving position. Of course, a driver can avoid having to hit button #1 when getting back in by programming one fob to be recognized when you enter. Just one persons opinion here: That all seems like a lot more trouble than simply lowering the driving position for button #1 slightly, or ducking one's head to get out. Of course, I do not know if perhaps there are physical/medical reasons for having difficulty, so take my advice as being aimed at physically healthy individuals. Good luck. Multitask
I have done something like that... #1 is for me normally #2 is for when I'm eating food in my car (more these days it seems, and a lot when I was on vacation) # 2 would be too low, but it would be nice if the car could remember a setting for when I turn it off... ? It also makes be wonder why there is a SET button, when all you need to do is press the # for 5 seconds to have it remember the setting. ? Exactly! When I got the vehicle, one of the few things I did was to program the memory seat immediately - that is by holding the button number until it beeps. I knew, once in a while I did have to reposition it and did not really think I did the programming wrong in the first place. Then, I saw the "SET" button.? Chris109
I wish I had a 3rd memory button like I had on the '13. On my '17, I use #1 for normal driving, And #2 when I have my driving companion. Multitask
I change it from time to time.... but it's usually in the same place... #2 is set very low and back... with the steering up... this way I can eat in my car when needed... When I had my FFH's I hated not having memory when the dealer should change it when I got the OIL change. I'd have to re-set it up... now I don't have to. ? I even have the buttons and modul for under the seat for the mod I was going to do... but never got to it, I think I still needed the wiring... now I don't ahve to deal with it... ? drolds1
Can't believe your cat is that mellow. On a short ride to the vet in a carrier, mine carry on for the whole time as if they were being burned with lit cigarettes.?

MKZMark
The MKZ has a pretty difficult ingress/egress for older folks or people with bad backs. I wish it would raise the seat all the way up when exiting.

shtaka
Kinda the same line of thought, is there a way to make the steering wheel move to it’s highest position when doing the comfort exit and access thing?
