1970Husker
Picked up my new 2019 MKZ from dealer. No windshield washer fluid in reservoir - bad prep service. Filled up the reservoir. Next day no fluid showing in the fill tube but NO sign of liquid in front of front tire. Filled the reservoir again and the following day once again no fluid showing in the fill neck but no liquid on the ground. How much does the reservoir hold? I have put in between a 1/3 and 1/2 gallon so far. Tested the washer and it works fine.

Not sure of the actual empty capacity, but it would be much closer to a full gallon if it was actually empty. Is the fluid leaking onto the under-body tray and possible not making it to the ground? If you think there is a problem, have it checked while still under warranty. Let us know how you make out and good luck.
Scott
We recently bought a new vehicle for my wife, and when I got it home I had to add probably a half a gallon of washer fluid. You would think that the dealer prep would catch this stuff. Or, maybe it is a cost cutting deal. Anyway, good luck GBR
kramf411
It's about a gallon to fill it up from empty. Same experience with the others about dealership not adding washer fluid during prep. When asked about it, they said "I'm not sure why we missed it".
1970Husker
Washer reservoir just needed to be "burped". Filled the tube for the third time then turned on the wipers/washer. Sucked the fluid down the tube and into the reservoir almost immediately. Filled up the reservoir to the top of the tube and now the level is holding. No leak!
