Multitask
So now that I have it... are there pages I should know about ? I'm sure the 2Gfusion site will still be some what relevant. Is there something like it for the Lincolns?

There is also a nice Lincoln Forum with an MKZ sub-forum here: https://lincolnforums.com/forums/ I don't recall if you are already there on not. You already know the SYNC site. ? If you come up with any others, let us know too. Good luck.

Yea, I've found a few that are kinda busy, like https://lincolnmkzforum.com/ I was hoping for a more technical one... like www.2gfusions.net ? Not sure you will find many more "technical" forums for the MKZ that are similar to 2GFusion. First, because the MKZ was not meant to be a volume seller like the Fusion/Fusion Sport, so there are far less MKZ owners than Fusion owners. Second, because MKZ owners naturally skew to be a little older and less likely to modify/tune their cars. There are still some of us who do, but far less than the Fusion, since there are far fewer MKZ's on the road than Fusions. Third, because the platform is being discontinued...unfortunately. If I do find any, I will certainly let you know though. And please do the same if you find any. Good luck with your new MKZ.
Multitask
2020 is it I know... same with the 2020 Fusion, Hermasillo is not make either.... I'm hoping that the Fusion/MKZ is brought, even if under a new name.... You are right, less MKZ's and they are older... I'm 64 and still want to make some mods... but this one has about everything I want... so not much to MOD What I don't know is how the massage feature works.. or even when... I was told mine had it, but no button and after a long drive I don't think I ever felt it... ?
drolds1
Congrats! Enjoy it. For 2020, the multi-contour seats are part of the Luxury Package. If your car doesn't have that, then you don't have them. There are two ways to activate them: press the center button on the controller on the side of your seat. This will bring up a graphic in the center screen. You can also select VEHICLE in SETTINGS in the center screen. They don't come on by themselves on a long trip. All this info is in the OG. Anything I should know that sometimes the brochure/Web Site might not mention or be obvious? Hi Multitask. Nothing in particular I can think of. Although you have probably done these things: Sit in the car, go through and play with the SYNC 3 and Driver Information Center settings to begin to acquaint yourself with all the features of your new MKZ. There are a lot. Take a look at the video tutorials on the Lincoln Owners website. And peruse the Owners Manual when you have time. No need to study it, but skimming through it can help you learn about your car. Good luck.

LeetheSailor
Hi All and to multitask Congrats on the new ride. I would have commented up higher at that portion in the forum, but I don't know how to insert i believe I read the plant in Mexico is closing in August. That may have been printed before the covid19. I would call the concierge at Lincoln. Easy to find the number at Lincoln.com if its the Red I like from earlier in this thread, then my Call is the Ruby Red. Then there is the red carpet. Not sure which years get which reds. Best Lee (west coast)
