Hi MKZ.Unless you are auto-crossing your MKZ, I would recommend sticking with the Motorcraft replacement parts. In addition, you can find discount coupons for brake replacement on the Ford Owners website. Sometimes on the Lincoln Owners website too, but usually always on the Ford site. See if this link works: https://owner.ford.com/maintenance/service-coupons-and-offers.html I believe it also applies to the Hybrid models. No Hybrid exclusion mentioned under the *asterisk. I'm sure others will jump in with their own recommendations. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
drolds1
Why do you need rotors?
R2D2
How much mileage on your 2017? I just traded in my 2014 Hybrid in with over 84K and original brakes were still in the "Green"
kramf411
Mine's not a hybrid but for information purposes, during my last oil change the lincoln dealership suggested that my rotors + pads could need some replacement. That was at ~54k miles. I did not do it coz' with all my other cars, I do my own replacement of rotors/pads using R1 Concepts.

As others have stated, how many miles on your 2017 MKZ and what makes you think/who told you that you need brake work? Did you get a second opinion from another shop? Unless the previous owner put a lot of the miles on the car or it was driven hard, it would normally be a bit early for rotor and pads to need replacing. Also, the factory rotors can usually (but not always) be turned once, which could save you some money, if you wish to. Get back to us with that information and good luck. MKZ22
Thanks everyone for the support and feedback. I just did a "pre-purchase vehicle inspection," on it few weeks ago when I bought it and Lincoln recommended replacing the brakes since it was in the red. Its a 2017 MKZ Hybrid with 43k miles. Hi MKZ. Was your MKZ a CPO vehicle? If yes, the brake job should be performed at no cost to you. If not, and you have to pay out of pocket, I would recommend getting the brake discount coupon from the Ford Owners website and going with the Motorcraft replacements. I'm sure others will jump in with their own recommendations. Let us know how you make out and good luck with whatever you decide to do. Wow, I am surprised considering what I experienced and learned from owning a MKZ hybrid. To answer your original question since I never had to do one, I cannot recommend a brand.
