NOVA703
Hello All, I just downloaded a new update for Sync 3 posted to the web site at owners.lincoln.com. Has anyone been successful with unziping, and installing this recent update? The file autoinstall.lst indicates the following new version, [SYNCGen3.0_3.0.19205_PRODUCT]. I was unable to unzip the download because of the following error in the attached pic. Regards, Rick Edited February 1, 2020 by NOVA703 typo

JimF
Can't help with the download error, updated mine over wifi while the car was parked in the garage. ? Too bad the Nav update is $$$ and not a free download like for my 2018 F-150.
MKZMark
Mine updates off the WiFi as well. I added a WiFi extender between the router and garage to get a better signal there. I agree the map thing is ridiculous, especially since the $100 update is also out of date and useless.
drolds1
When I was looking at the Genesis G70, I learned that yearly map updates are free for the first 3 years. One of the perks you get with Genesis.
Chris109
I wish there was a way to get rid of the installed navigation. I just use Waze on Android Auto. Everything is up to date and you basically have live traffic reports. I'm surprised some geek hasn't figured out a way to incorporate Waze/Google Maps into Sync. Spaceman
I agree, which is why as an iOS user, I will plug in and access Waze/Google for “important” trips. Chris109
Multitask
I'm not sure I would want Gmaps/Waze built in, think of all the bandwidth it would take to keep it updated... When 4.0 comes out, we should see wireless Gmaps and Waze... ? --- MAPS: 3 years of updates is good... isn't Lincoln at 1 year of updates? 1-18 is free if you have a 2019plus... (1-19 is floating around now too)
