jgatto
Ok so I had them done a color called Magnetic which is a grey with a metal flake. Haven't had it all washed up yet. When it's detailed and sunny I'll take more pics but here's what it looks like now. Sorry I can't get the last pic to not post upside down. Airflow
Nice! What is the process how it's done?
jgatto
Thanks guys. I tried to take pics in different angles with different light but they really don't do it justice. They look so much better in person. Not sure what the process is. I'm assuming they are sprayed similar to how they would paint the body. Any thoughts on smoking the taillight bar? Yes or don't mess with it?
colinsz
Smoking the tails would follow the contrast theme on your ride. If that's what you like then go for it. Needless to say we'd love to see the effect. Beauty Lincoln. C.

jm98
I had my MKZ tint done @ dealer by a tint specialist. The guy comes to dealership once a week for various tint job new/pre-owned vehicles. The sales manager indicated tint job is under warranty. Not sure what that meant but I assume 12 month/12k miles..? Edited August 23, 2017 by jm98

colinsz
I got 35% front doors 20% the rest around. Very nice Izzy -- that's the way I'd go if tinting.......would love darker but local constabulary doesn't like less than 35%. Also much more expensive up here in Canada. C. jgatto
That looks awesome. Any problem with visibility at night? tnx c. Sorry man. I missed this. Better late than never though. I have a little bit of an issue on one street turning into a side entrance to my development where there's no street lights. I'm always worried someone might be walking there so I put the window down a little for safety. Other than that I'm all good.
Black Ice MKZ
My last car had 35 on all windows...I am glad I dont have to watch every cop now to see if they notice. My 15 MKZ was already tinted using 3M when I bought it, but just the rear 5. I need to get the fronts done soon as it doesn't look right...thinking 20% so as not to be so paranoid.
